Unveiling the Significance

Often,

we wonder how the universe was before the existence of human beings. Allah SWT has guided us so much that He has also revealed to us how the universe was before humans and how Allah SWT created it, which contradicts the big bang theory.

When Allah SWT intended to create humans, all the complete information or data, in modern terms, was stored.

To create the necessary infrastructure, Allah SWT created and empowered a creation called Al-Kal'm (the Pen). After the creation of Al-Kal'm, Allah SWT commanded it to write, and it recorded everything that was before and everything that will be. Therefore, there is no data about this universe that was not the subject of writing for this Kal'm.

Now, the following question arises: Where did the Kal'm write? On a piece of paper? The answer is no. The hard drive on which Al-Kal'm inscribed everything is called Loh-e-Mahfooz. There is nothing in the universe, the knowledge of which you cannot find in Loh-e-Mahfooz. Imagine the magnitude of knowledge contained within Loh-e-Mahfooz.

The next question that may arise is, where did the Quran come from? The Quran itself provides the answer and states that it is in Loh-e-Mahfooz. This means that the content of revelation, which is the Quran, came from Loh-e-Mahfooz, emphasizing the vastness of the Quran's knowledge. We are informed that the Quran is the greatest miracle of the Prophet (peace be upon him).

The tragedy with this generation is that we fail to grasp the importance of this miracle, which raises questions about our relationship with the Quran. What is our connection with the Quran? We read the Quran for two reasons: 1) we recite the Quran for Sawa'ab (reward), and 2) we recite it for Isaal-e-Sawa'ab (a concept where people recite the Quran for a deceased person).

However, this approach takes away the true objective behind the revelation of the Quran, which goes beyond mere recitation. The objective is to analyze, understand, and implement its teachings. Yet, when it comes to analyzing and understanding the Quran, we often dismiss it, especially the older generation who insist that Arabic is not our language. Consequently, we spend years reciting the Quran without developing an interest in its actual meaning. If knowledge of Arabic was the sole key to understanding and implementing the Quran, there would be no Arabic speaker who remained misguided.Remember, the Quran is not just a book of the past; it is a timeless guide that holds the key to our present and future. Let us cherish this divine gift and embark on a journey of discovery, seeking its wisdom, and living in accordance with its noble teachings.

May Allah SWT grant us the guidance, knowledge, and sincerity to embrace the Quran as a beacon of light in our lives, illuminating our path towards righteousness, peace, and ultimate success.
